While shooting the video Hotel Nacional + Plaza de la Revolucion (Vedado, Cuba) – In Another Minute (339), I also took a lot of photos in the Havana neighborhood Vedado. Below you can see a few of those pictures.

If you want to read more about the locations, please head on over to the post for the video on my website: http://movingpostcard.com/hotel-nacional-plaza-de-la-revolucion/

The most refreshing daiquiri I’ve ever had… at the Hotel Nacional after walking the entire Malecón from Habana Vieja in the Caribbean heat.

The best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had was at the Hotel Nacional in Havana. Interesting fact: in Cuba they call it a ham and cheese sandwich… just in Spanish. 😉

In theory, I pretty much never ever take pictures of friends or family in front of sights. I like to keep my portraits separate from my landscapes and building pictures. But, Scott sipping a melting daiquiri in front of the Habana Libre in Cuba? I couldn’t resist.

Apparently, a lot of people think this is Fidel Castro… I thought it looked like Ayatollah Khomeini… but it’s actually Camilo Cienfuegos. Plaza de la Revolución, Havana, Cuba.
