Photo Wood Transfers – First Look

A changing selection of recent wood transfers handmade with my photos of urban art and other urban exploration in Berlin, Brooklyn, St. Pete, and elsewhere.

Most of these photo transfers were created with reclaimed wood fence planks, which were prepared by my collaborator in art and life, Scott Solary. As I’m posting this, all art pieces seen here are available for purchase, priced between $55 and $300, depending on size. A few of them are already in the online shop – you can see them by scrolling to the bottom of the page. If you’d like to buy one not in the online shop yet, please contact me directly. Soon I’ll have all of them listed online.

All pieces are numbered and signed on the back. While I may create more than one wood transfer with the same photo, each is unique due to the wood grain, shape, size of the reclaimed wood – and of course because of the unpredictable nature of the process.

The following are some of the wood transfers available for purchase in the online store right now. Some may not be listed in the online store yet. Others may be sold already. In that case, a new one could be made. Due to the unique process no two are alike, even if based on the same photo.
