For the fourth year in a row, Happier Place published a wall calendar featuring my photography. It’s not too late to get one.
You can purchase a calendar online via the Happier Place website or Etsy (currently at a lower price) or Buy Local Tampa Bay.
But if you’re my friend, you can also just come visit me, and I’ll give you one. Because I like you – and gifts – and nature – and photography.
The 2021 calendar features only a few images that were taken this year; during trips to the Everglades National Park in Florida and to the Chattahoochee National Forest in Georgia – and close to home at Honeymoon Island, Florida. Because of all the travel restrictions and safety concerns, naturally I didn’t get to travel much. So most other images were chosen from trips and excursions during past years.
During 2021, my photos will take you to the Poudre Canyon, the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Fort Collins, and the Cache la Poudre River in Colorado, from the Everglades National Park, Honeymoon Island (cover photo), and Key West in Florida, to the Chattahoochee National Forest and Minnehaha Falls in Georgia, Double Arch in Arches National Park in Utah, and to a cove along the Algarve coast in Portugal. You’ll also get to see some purple flax up close and personal.
Can’t wait until you get the calendar? You can see all thirteen images (including the cover image) right now in the 2021 Nature Calendar Photos album in the photography section of this website.
The calendar pages themselves list international and federal holidays of the US – and lots of UN days (e.g., Earth Day – which just happens to be on my birthday) – and quite a few simply fun days (e.g., Pi Day).
And of course, every month you get a Happier Place slogan to motivate, inspire, or question.
