What an awesome surprise! Public Walls and In-Between Spaces won Best Art Fort of Tampa Bay.
Thank you, Jennifer Ring! First time a category was invented for something I created. Unless there was a best art fort before? Also thank you to Harriet Monzon-Aguirre for letting me know about this.
The paragraph reminded me that I often had Bob Dylan’s “Shelter from the Storm” playing in my head while working on this piece.
But that’s not all… our group exhibit for which I created the installation (Creative Pinellas Emerging Artist 2024), also won Finalist for Best Gallery (Non-Museum) Show in the Readers Picks!
