The 8th Arts Annual at the Creative Pinellas Gallery brought together over 70 of the most outstanding artists working in Pinellas County, from Clearwater to St. Petersburg and all around.

As there are only 2 days left of this major group art exhibit, I want to throw a spotlight on it and urge you to see it if you’re anywhere in the Tampa Bay Area. The Creative Pinellas Gallery will be closed after January, 2026.

Not only does this exhibit bring together new artwork by some of the best artists in the Tampa Bay Area, it’s also the last art exhibit in the vast and beautiful Creative Pinellas Gallery. Much larger than any local galleries, it’s on the level with what we would call a “Kunsthaus” in German – sized like a small museum, but with exhibits featuring art (from local to international) that can be purchased. It’s truly a shame and a travesty that our community is losing this major art exhibit – due to some county commissioners deciding that money shouldn’t go to art and culture, but to tourism.

It’s the second year in a row, I got to show artwork in the Creative Pinellas Arts Annual. It’s always a great honor to be showing in the space and among such amazing art. And both times, I took it as an opportunity to push myself artistically and create something meaningful and different.
