Werk Gallery Door
In February, you can see my photo work in two new exhibits and at the St. Pete makers event of the year: Localtopia. In March and April there’s even more…

Here is an overview of recent openings, current shows, and upcoming exhibits and events. Also, you can always check my events page for current and upcoming events.

The Werk – 2nd Anniversary Group exhibit

At this excellent group exhibit, I’m exhibiting one of the panels from “Public Walls and In-Between Spaces” – the first time hanging on a gallery wall. As if that wasn’t exiting enough already… At the opening celebration on February 7, I finally got to see the other work. An outstanding exhibit by some of The Werk Gallery and Object Lab’s regulars and favorites. It’s a real honor to exhibit among artist like Meatyard, Kostar, Nathan Beard, and Mathew Boyle, to name just a few.

Definitely check out the exhibit and buy something nice there or in the attached store.

February 2nd Saturday ArtWalk Studio Exhibit: (i) Love Birds

On February 8th, for my 3rd ArtWalk since getting my studio on the ArtsXchange campus, I decided to launch a series of monthly exhibits. For the first two months, I showed a little bit of everything. From now on, two of the walls will be dedicated to a different themed exhibit every month. For the first exhibit, I chose something close to my heart: Birds!

Still on a trial basis, we now have open studio hours at the ArtsXchange Studios: Wed – Sat, 12pm – 6pm. At this point, we don’t advertise our open hours yet and may not be consistently open. But you can always DM me to see if my studio is open (and if I’m there).

Localtopia

The don’t miss St. Pete event of the year. LOCALTOPIA is St. Pete’s largest “Community Celebration of All Things Local” showcasing OVER 300 of our city’s favorite independent businesses and community organizations. More than a festival, it’s a (local vibe)!

Scott (aka Man Glitter Studio) and I will each have our own booth, but connected. We’ll be in the same location as our Happier Place had been in year prior: on 3rd Street, on the east side between 2nd and 3rd Avenues.

February 22, 10am – 5pm
Williams Park, St. Petersburg, Florida

March 2nd Saturday ArtWalk Studio Exhibit: Botanicals

For now, I think this will be the theme for the next open studio exhibit to open during ArtWalk. Again, something simple because I’ll be busy getting ready for what’s coming up in April… But I might still change my mind… And maybe you have an idea of what you’d like to see in my studio for March.
