The Catskills (aka Catskill Mountains) in Upstate New York are a beautiful and very popular destination for people from New York City.
Especially stunning in autumn with its colorful fall foliage, it was the perfect backdrop for the Catskills wedding of dear Brooklyn friends Alex and Adele this past weekend at Mt. Tremper Arts, near Phoenicia, New York.
The 1-minute video for the week: Catskills Wedding (New York) – In Another Minute (Week 232)
Congratulations, Alex and Adele! We all are so fortunate to know you and wish you all the happiness you can handle.
I cannot describe the joy I experienced spending a weekend with some of my best friends in such a beautiful place… and the pleasure of a romantic weekend with my husband in a little cabin in the hills.
Do yourself a favor and get away for the weekend and spend time with those you love and whom love you.

On a technical note: yes, I certainly do need a new on-the-go camera that shoots in 1080p and does well under dark lighting. Unfortunately, I have my mind set on the updated version of my Panasonic Lumix, which shoots in European PAL. Currently saving money for it.
