South St. Vrain Canyon – In A Colorado Minute (Week 231)
The fast drive through stunning South St. Vrain Canyon (along South St. Vrain Creek aka St. Vrain River) was actually an accidental one. When we drove (and filmed) the Peak-to-Peak Scenic Byway in all its autumn glory this past week, we missed the turn from Colorado Highway 7 onto Highway 72 and discovered this little gem. Not accidental was the stop along the road to give our dog Whiskey the chance to catch some water, which seems to be here current favorite thing.
