This is going to be the most random blog post ever but… I’m pulling another late night putting in titles and tweaking All’s Well and Fair. And there comes the point when I need to take a little break and do something mindless.
So a few minutes ago I decided to see if I could track down the B-side of my very first single (or 7-inch as you Americans called them, right?). The single was Duran Duran’s “The Reflex”. Yup, that dates me. The most fabulous and invigorating B-side was a cover of the 70s song “Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)”. Actually Duran Duran called it “Come Up And See Me (Make Me Smile)” and recorded it live in 1982… and I just now found it on YouTube. Yay, technology. Well, actually it seems to pretty much be totally out of sync… clash of technology.
