Quite a few photos from my recent trip to Devils Tower (aka Bear Lodge) in Wyoming. Read more about the first United States National Monument and watch the video “Devils Tower aka Bear Lodge (Wyoming) – In Another Minute (Week 228)” I shot for my Moving Postcard web series HERE.

A quick viewing tip: click on the first photo to see it larger, then click through that slide show to see all photos full size instead of having to come back to this blog post.

Devils Tower is known by much friendlier names in Native American languages: Bear Lodge, Aloft on a Rock, Bear’s Tip, Grizzly Bear’s House and Bear’s House, to name just a few.

Devils Tower aka Bear Lodge is held sacred by many Native Americans.
