On a random personal note: mein bester Freund, Erik, arrived from Germany today with his girlfriend Tina. They’ll be staying for two weeks. I’m so happy!!!
Also I saw a Moonflower open up in our yard today. The first time I’ve seen that happen – and the first bloom on that plant which I’ve grown from seed. I don’t know if I’ll catch another one to be able to film it. So here is someone else’s video:
It really is a beautiful sight. I had no idea they open that elegantly and fast – so it was quite a magical moment. And now at night the big bloom glows in the dark.
