Now that’s just wonderful and perfect and makes our 90s dreams come true: J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr playing a cover of “Fade Into You” by Mazzy Star (still one of my favorite songs of all times).
And if you watch the video from last week’s live performance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, you also get to enjoy seeing Fred Armisen playing bass in the background. What a gem!
While this cover song was released by J Mascis as a very limited single in 2013, this performance is from last week. And I enjoyed it so much I thought I’d share it with you today.
