Carnaval in Pelourinho
A not tiny selection of photos I took while visiting Salvador, Bahia, Brazil during Carnival. Even after deleting a bunch I still have over 500 photos that I took during 10 days in Salvador (over 1,500 taken during 3 weeks in Brazil). I paired it down to about 80 (not counting Instagram photos) that I’ll be posting in my Brazil album on Flickr. And here are just over 40 of those. Yes, a ridiculous amount for a blog post. But uh… yeah… I don’t have any excuse except that I’m not that great at making selections.

If you’d like to see the movement and sound of Carnival and life in Salvador, please check out my 1-minute video: Carnaval (Carnival) in Salvador – In A Brazil Minute (Week 149). There will soon also be an extended version of that video.

Also I’ll be publishing a video and a photo series with Brazilian street art soon.

Last but not least you can also watch my two other short videos from Brazil (longer versions of those coming soon as well):
