The towns of Cañon City and Florence, just east of the Rocky Mountains in Fremont County, are well worth a visit. When Scott, Miriam Blaich and I visited the area in February, I didn’t get much time to take pictures – since our main focus was the near-by Royal Gorge Bridge and some antique shopping in Florence.
