The performance of Swede José González with his new band Junip at this weekend’s Berlin Festival was an absolute highlight* for me – and for my friend Erica Stoltz (Lost Goat, Dirty Excuse) visiting from Brooklyn.
The song “Rope and Summit” had been available as a free download – so we listened to it all weekend. The album Fields came out in Germany on Friday and is out in the US tomorrow. You can stream Fields on NPR.
